As a pre-plan, NutriProduce focuses on servicing just two types of clients, the direct buyers/beneficiaries/trainees locally and in the region; and the organized markets for produce. For both market/intervention segments, we will secure exclusive and/or wholesome team contracts or endorsements putting us in a unique position to service these niches and their needs. NutriProduce has a mission to see increased incomes for our sustainable agriculture growers while delivering health value for sustainable societies.

2017

NutriProduce founded and incorporated

As a youth-led company, the focus was to empower youth and women in agriculture and enable focus on the next frontier.

2018

First engagement within East Africa on seed systems development

East African seed systems have been involving and as NutriProduce, we were excited to be part of a consortium looking at how the smallholder farmer seed systems can be strengthened for greater resilience.

2019

Development of roadmap for youth and women empowerment for within ECA

The youth and women, who are a big focus of our work, needed to have a clear way of handling their needs. This provided an opportunity to sit in and work on what practical issues we could jointly work on. A roadmap was developed

2020

Commenced works on global Agroecological systems strengthening

Our portfolio in systems thinking afforded us an opportunity to work in a review and advisory segment for building better agroecological systems. We look forward to a finalised product for policy makers, researchers and thinktanks.
